Why should you submit your web site to our directory?

One of the way to get Google, Yahoo and MSN to include your web site into their search engines is to have a link, a PROPER LINK, from a web site that is visited by the search engines' crawlers or spiders regularly.

Our directory is visited by Googlebot (Google's spider), MSNbot (MSN's spider), Inktomi Slurp (Yahoo's crawler), almost daily. We have done an experiment by adding a completely new web site in our directory. It was indexed by Google in three days. A week later it was included in Yahoo and MSN.

Should you submit your web site to every directory you found on the net?

Watch out! Not all directories provide PROPER LINK to your web site. A proper link is a spiderable-link. This means search engines can follow such links to your web site. A proper link is straight forward and simple like "www.your-website-domain.com".

However, many directories do not provide such proper link due to various reasons. Those directories link to your web site with non-spiderable link. This is how a sneaky non-spiderable link looks like: "www.my-directory.com/go.php?id=332". The link does not show you domain name. There is no way for the search engines to get to and to index your web site.

Such directories usually hide the actual link addresses. The way to check is to press "CTRL" and click on the link. Hold down both "CTRL" and the click, then look at the left bottom corner of your Internet Explorer. You can see the true linking address.

Once you submit our web site, we will include your web site in our directory only if:

a. your web site has at least ten pages of real content,
b. the content is related to financial matters, and
c. there is no trick in your web site which is meant to deceive search engine. Since we link to you directly, if you practice tricks that are disallowed by search engines we will be punished (banned by the search engines) for linking to you too.

Once your web site is included in our directory, it should be included in Google, Yahoo Search and MSN fairly quickly.
